A Third Are Done

There's a recent poll on the Flagship forums that asks whether people are still playing.

Of the respondents, almost a third have stopped playing. The really telling response however is that less than 500 people have responded to the poll - I figure we're not seeing a response from all the people who've done, packed up, uninstalled, and moved on.

It's a shame. Hellgate had such promise to be brilliant, but with some jackhole design decisions (no respecs) and a lack of promise fullfilment (end-game content, PvP) people have lost the reason to keep playing the game. And I can understand that - I've still got it installed, but I'm waiting on it being made into what I expect. A poster in the poll sums it up:

"I stopped playing for now. Waiting for upcoming future patches to fix the game."
